Manager Portal
The Manager Portal is the web side of SheetAgent, at manage.setline.ai. It is not part of the plugin and nobody needs it to draw sheets. It exists for the people who need to see what the tool is doing across a company rather than in one drawing: who has access, how it is being used, and what that is worth against what was paid for it.
What the Manager Portal is
Three groups use it, and they want different things from it.
IT needs to know who has access and who does not, and to move a seat when someone joins or leaves.
CAD managers need to see how the tool is actually being used across the team: which commands, how often, and by whom.
Anyone carrying the budget needs the other half: utilisation against what was paid for, and the time recovered expressed as cost. This is where the return on the licence is visible rather than asserted.
A drafter never has to open it. A manager who never opens it has no way to answer whether the tool is earning its seats.
Admins and viewers
A company can have as many admins and as many viewers as it needs. There is no single owner account, so the responsibility is shared rather than resting on one person who might be on leave when a seat needs moving.
Admin assigns and removes seats, handles purchases and billing, changes company settings, and sets other managers' roles. IT and whoever carries the budget usually sit here.
Viewer reaches Telemetry, Reports and Services, and nothing else. The other pages stay visible but greyed, so a viewer can see what exists without being able to act. This suits a CAD manager or a department head who needs to watch utilisation and cost without touching seats or payment.
Roles are changed by an admin, on the Settings page. Three rules apply, and you are more likely to meet them than to read them:
- Only an admin can change roles.
- Nobody can change their own role. Another admin has to do it, so a person cannot lock themselves out or quietly promote themselves.
- A company can never reach zero admins. Demoting the last one is refused until another manager is promoted first.
Dashboard
The landing page: licence usage, recent activity, and whether the rollout is healthy. It is the view to open when you want to know how things stand without looking for anything in particular.
CAD Users
Who has access to SheetAgent across your company's Autodesk team. Add a person, remove one, and move a seat when someone joins or leaves.
For a rollout rather than a single addition, upload a CSV with first name, last name and email and add everyone at once.
Admins only. A viewer sees the page greyed.
Telemetry
The raw record: how many events have been captured and how many distinct plugin sessions, over a window you choose. This is the evidence underneath the Reports page rather than a summary of it.
Open to viewers as well as admins.
Reports
Your company's command usage, the mix across categories, and estimated time saved. This is the page that answers whether the tool is earning its seats, in the terms someone carrying a budget actually asks: what is being used, by how much, and what that time is worth.
The time-saved figure is built from what the plugin actually did, command by command, rather than from a headline multiplier.
Open to viewers as well as admins.
Billing
Current licence status, how many seats are in use against how many you hold, and a route to request more capacity.
If you bought through a reseller, the page says so and points you to them rather than pretending to manage a licence it does not control.
Admins only.
Services
Three things can be requested here. Training hours and priority support are fixed price. In-person training is quoted after review, since what it costs depends on where you are and what you need.
Requests you have made are listed on the same page with their status, so nothing is submitted into silence.
Open to viewers as well as admins, because the person who notices the team needs training is usually not the person holding the budget.
Resources
Download the current installer, pick up manager templates, and resend the setup email to someone who has a seat but has lost the installer.
That last one saves a support round trip: a new starter who deleted the email does not need you to contact us, they need you to press resend.
Admins only.
Bug Reports
Send a structured issue report to Setline with your company context already attached, so the first reply is an answer rather than a request for details.
A drafter can also report a bug from inside the plugin, on the palette. Use whichever is closer to the problem. See Logs and bug reports.
Admins only.
Settings
Your company context, your own manager account details, and the portal's security settings. This is also where an admin changes another manager between admin and viewer.
Admins only.
