  • Manager Portal For CAD managers, IT and whoever carries the budget: seats, telemetry, and what the tool is returning against what was paid for it. Not needed to draw sheets.
  • Getting started SheetAgent for Civil 3D builds a complete sheet set from your model: tiles in model space become layouts, each with its viewport, title block, match lines and key map already placed. Four workflows cover the ways sheets get made, and Project Control sits above them for work spanning several drawings. Start here if you have not built a set with it before.
  • Title blocks, north arrows and scale bars Your own title block comes in as an XREF and becomes _TEMPLATE_TB, the layout every sheet is copied from. Set it and the maximum viewport area once, and every sheet inherits both. This setup comes before any placement mode, and it is also where north arrows, scale bars, match line style and title block attributes are configured.
  • CAD standards Your company layer standard comes in through an Excel template downloaded from the Manager Portal, and covers only the layers SheetAgent generates rather than your whole standard. Import it once per firm and every drawing built afterwards uses it. An older drawing with its own layers keeps them until you choose to standardize.
  • Plan sheets: array, path, alignment and free placement Plan sheets are built from tiles you place in model space, one tile per sheet. There are four ways to place them: array fills a boundary with a grid, path follows a polyline, alignment follows a Civil 3D alignment and its stationing, and free placement drops single tiles where you click. Every mode starts from the same title block and viewport setup.
  • Match lines Match lines are drawn automatically wherever two sheets meet, each labelled with the neighbouring sheet reference, so a reader can follow the drawing across the set. Where they land is yours to set, either snapped to round stations along an alignment or left where the tile coverage puts them. How they read is yours too: text, prefix, background mask, or not drawn at all if you would rather place them yourself.
  • Multi VP: plan and profile sheets Multi VP puts two or more viewports on one sheet. Plan and Profile pairs a plan with its profile view along an alignment. Plan/Plan stacks two different tiles on one sheet, which suits narrow corridors like utility runs. Plan Duplicate shows the same tile twice with different layer states, for existing against proposed.
  • Splitting long profile views A profile view too long for one sheet is cut into one piece per sheet, each sized to its sheet's station range, carrying its bands, pipes, structures and pressure networks. The split runs in the source drawing that holds the original profile views; the sheets live in a separate layout drawing, and the two are kept in step from either side.
  • PDF detail sheets An existing PDF details package becomes sheets in the same set as everything else: one layout per PDF page, each with a viewport pointed at that page, numbered and titled like any other sheet. Pages can be imported all at once, as a range, or picked individually, and the set is updated in place afterwards.
  • Key Plans and key maps Key Plans reads a set of drawings you already have and builds one index or cover layout covering all of them, plus key map coordination across the project. It does not author tiles or create drawings; that is Project Control. On a Project Control project the index is created for you, so this is the manual route.
  • Project Control: projects across several drawings Project Control holds one tiling that every discipline inherits, so demolition, existing conditions, grading and layout all sit on the same sheet boundaries, authored once in a control drawing. It creates each discipline's drawings, splits a discipline across files at a count you choose, numbers straight through, and keeps one sheet set for the project.
  • Sheet names, numbering and Sheet Set Manager Sheet numbers, titles and scales can be imported from a CSV before the build, edited per sheet afterwards, and renumbered across the set in one pass that cascades to key maps, labels and sheet set entries. The set is then written out to Sheet Set Manager and kept in sync as sheets are added, removed or reordered.
  • Health, drift, and existing drawings The Health panel reports where the sheets and the design have fallen out of step: an alignment that moved away from its tiles, viewports edited by hand, a reference that changed since the build. Each warning names the button that settles it. Layouts you drafted by hand can also be adopted, without rebuilding them.
  • Licensing, updates and support Your licence status shows in the palette and through Run diagnostics: pro and trial mean active, expired or unassigned means access has lapsed, and offline means the last server check failed and a saved copy is in use. Updates are checked automatically. Running diagnostics before contacting support answers most of what a first reply would ask.
